Yellow - At the Blacksmith when Vanessa is working.
Green - At the mine on a day when Vanessa is not working.
The next two can only be seen if you are dating. To date a character, you must either give them a Silver Ring (made at the Blacksmith with silver ore in the mine) once you have seen their first two events and have enough Friendship Points or continue to gain more Friendship Points and wait for them to ask you out.
Orange - At Jennifer's house on a day Vanessa is not working.
Purple - On your farm in the evening.
The next two are seen after you are married. To marry, you have to have seen four of their events and have no remaining debt. Afterwards, you can either propose with a Gold Ring (made at the Blacksmith with gold ore in the mine) or continue to gain Friendship Points until they propose to you.
Blue - In your chicken coop on a day Vanessa is not working AND you have at least 1 chicken.
Pink - In your farm house in the evening.

DeleteWhat is a heart even and how do I start it
ReplyDeleteA heart event is when your character and the other hangs out together, either as friends, dates or spouses. Go to the place indicated when you have the right heart colour (yellow requires you to get to know them slightly) and it will trigger the heart event.
DeleteThe green heart event isnt working. It's spring 2nd year. Her hearts green and I've been going in the mine on her days off. Is there a certain time I have to go into the mine?

You have to see her yellow, green, orange and purple heart events before you can propose. She also needs to be at a blue or pink heart.

DeleteSeeing events does not change the heart colour. The heart colour changes by talking to them each day and giving them gifts they like.

ReplyDeleteYou should add a way to tell how many friendship points you have with each character, just a suggestion for you.
ReplyDeleteThe heart colour themselves represent 15 000 friendship points (except pink which is 20 000). A favourite gift gives +1000 points and talking once a day gives +100 points.

ReplyDeleteIf you pay off your debt and have seen her first four heart events then yes, you will be able to propose. She won't propose until she hits a pink heart.

ReplyDeleteThat event only happens when you're married to her. If you want her to propose to you then she needs a pink heart.

ReplyDeleteShe'll ask on your farm. An orange heart isn't enough for her to ask you out, so keep giving gifts. When she's about halfway through purple heart then she'll be the one asking.

DeleteThere's a wide time period to trigger her asking, so you probably still need to give her a few more gifts until you meet the halfway through purple point.

ReplyDeleteVannesa's event is for mining, not cooking. You can cook from the start of the game by interacting with the stove in your house.
DeleteWhat is an event? Do you mean when the heart goes from one color to the next?
ReplyDeleteAn event is a little scene that occurs with the marriageable characters. There is one for each heart colour. Events for lower heart levels that haven't been seen will also trigger, so there's no worry of missing an event unless you're pursuing Kaitlyn.
